The Georgian Pillars is a 1900 Georgian Revival Home,
with
lavish oak woodwork and stained glass windows, that has been lovingly
decorated
in the teal and mauve hues of the Victorian era.
This monumental structure of buttered brick with
curved
Ionic porches was built for R. Ross Watt, President of Watt Mining Car
Wheel Company.
This bed and breakfast has been in operation since
1991.
Hostess Janet Thompson is proud of how many guests she's welcomed back
to Georgian Pillars during that time and invites you to visit when
you're
in the area.
The Georgian Pillars is just 1/2 block from the
Barnesville
Antique Mall, 1 mile from Barnesville Hospital and the Quaker Olney
Friends
School, 22 miles from St. Clairsville, and 30 miles from Oglebay Park

Wheeling, West Virginia. There is also a golf course just 8 miles
away.
